November 2006 News

I'm going to be doing charcoal/pencil drawings for a little while. Please note, however, that these drawings can take up to a week or more. (I am, after all, a high-school student whom has to keep up with her grades.) To get a general idea of how long a piece of work may take, I'll list them here:

Pixel: 1-2 hours
Digital: 1-3 hours
Detailed digital: 3-6 hours
Pencil: day-week
Charcoal: day-week
Flash game: 4-6 hours

Okay, well, I fixed a few things. First, I accidently typed my email address wrong when you clicked on the link to email me on the home page, and fixed that. Sorry. I also noticed that for some reason I was typing "October" instead of "November" on the news page.... I fixed that, too. I know "animals" is spelled wrong on Pippin's page on his banner... I'll eventually get around to fixing that, as well. Anyway, I'm learning how to make things in Flash, including games. The only game I know how to make at the moment is a dress-the-character game. You can view games I make here. I'll be updating the page as I go along. I'll make personal dress-up games for $25.

I water-marked all the images to prevent theft. A lot of work. I want to thank Sandy, who was kind enough to add "emily-pawprints.com" to most of the traditional dog images, and some other images, and to Winston and Kikay who tested the links of the digital dogs art page to make sure the links work.

I worked on the F.A.Q. page. I couldn't get the bullets the way I wanted, though... I had to finally go with inserting images. I also worked on Pippin's page. I added art to all the pages. I'll be adding more later, but it's hard trying to scan something 2x3 feet with a 10x12 inch scanner.

Well, I've been working almost all day on this site. I've gotten done the art page [dogs, digital cat, pixel], the about page, and, of course, this news page! It helps having dreamweaver to edit my files in, instead of typing everything out in word pad. EasyCGI Customer Support helped me with getting to my FTP files [which I had trouble accessing via Internet Explorer and Macromedia Dreamweaver8] so that's helped a lot. I'll say I'm satisfied with my website. I may, in the future, change the overall layout, but until then, get used to the pink and teal, and the messy Maizie. I may do another "error" image, for variety. Once I set up a PayPal, you'll be able to request orders. Until then, I'm going to be thinking up prices. Don't worry... they won't be ridiculously expensive like most sites.

*EDIT* I fixed up the ordering page.
